All the archives like zip and rar are now in 'archives', and all the xcf, psd, and krita formats are in 'image project files'. I've been worried about adding more filetype support for a while because of how busy this widget was getting, but this will relieve things.Īlso, the 'applications' group is now split up. It is easier to work with than the old expanding panels system and scrolls smoothly when it gets internally tall. There's a mix of bug fixes and a couple of neat improvements.įirst off, the filetype selector, which you'll see in 'system:filetype' and any File Import Options, is completely rewritten to a checkbox tree. I use a number of the Silk Icons by Mark James at had an ok week. The help is also included in every release. Hydrus can do a lot, so while you can skim it, do not skip it. This help will walk you through installation and teach you the main systems of the program. I am not active here on Github, and I have difficulty keeping up with social media in general, but I welcome feedback of any sort and will eventually catch up with and reply to email, twitter discord or posts in the 8chan or Endchan release threads. The issue tracker here on Github is active and run by blessed volunteer users. Feel free to fork and do whatever you like with my code, but please do not make pull requests. This github repository is currently a weekly sync with my home dev environment, where I work on hydrus by myself. I am continually working on the software and try to put out a new release every Wednesday by 8pm EST. The program is in python, so you can also run it straight from the source code. Executable releases are available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Everything is free and privacy is the first concern. Advanced users can share tags and files anonymously through custom servers that any user may run. It browses with tags instead of folders, a little like a booru on your desktop. The hydrus network client is an application written for Anon and other internet-fluent media nerds who have large image/swf/webm collections.
